We started sunny Wednesday off by a few of us waking up early to see the whales and some going to pet cheetahs while we went with our "tour guide" Léa to rent a car and see the sites for ourselves. We eagerly jumped into the car (on the other side of the road) and made our way to the green market, a market downtown Cape Town, full of African paintings, sculptures,  jewellery and much more. We filled our bags with many things to fill our homes and gifts for our friends and family. We drove past many different brightly coloured houses named  Bo-kaap situated on the slopes of signal hill. Afterwards we drove past the world famous football stadium from the FIFA World Cup in 2008 and after onto sea point where we sat and ate a quick lunch while admiring the scenery, sun and breath taking views. We hurried back to the hotel to pack our bags and headed to the theatre for our second show in Cape Town. Mathieu was back and ready to go so we were very excited to show the public a full show. The show went well and the audience was supportive. Everyone ran quickly away to bed to rest for an exciting day to follow.

Thursday morning we left the hotel around 8am to explore Cape Point, the Cape of Good Hope as well as, some hilarious penguins, along with Chapman's Peak and Hout Bay. Others went to Robben Island or Table Mountain, there is so much to do! We started off in Boulders Bay to see the penguins. We had a good laugh watching them run around and swim. Then we began our trip to the point where we took a cable car up to see the light house and walk to impressive views. Standing up so high and seeing the calm blue surround you was amazing. We then continued on to the Cape of Good Hope, the most south west point of Africa. We spotted a few geckos, rock dassies, many birds, an ostrich and we would like to believe a whale.
We took the scenic route back to the hotel which led us to Chapman's Peak, a road in a massive mountain that led us to Hout Bay, a beautiful bay with mountains, blue water and perfect sand.

Thursdays performance was really special because we had friends that came to watch as well as a busy audience. We are now half way done our shows in Cape Town three more to go and we are all very excited. Hopefully see you soon.
