Tournee VS | Premiere in NYC

Two days in New York, and I’m having a great time....

Yesterday, after arriving in the city that never sleeps, we had a free day. It was a beautiful day. First I had a fast breakfast, very New York style, before I met some of the dancers in the lobby of our hotel for an interview with a journalist of newspaper De Gelderlander. Once we finished, I spend the day walking through the streets of this amazing city, did some shopping, had some drinks in nice cafes in Chelsea, watched the sunset from the Brooklyn bridge…a perfect resting day for what was waiting today …

This morning we started 12h00 with class and a general rehearsal of the programme, and later in the evening, at 19h30 the moment arrived, the “Heavenly” premiere of Introdans at the Joyce Theatre in New York .
I was a bit nervous, like all of us, although we have done this programme so many timesthis was a very special evening, and I can say it went very well, we received a great respons from the American audience.

After the performance we had a drink in the theatre with all the guests, it was nice to meet the American choreographers who worked before in Introdans. Gisela Rocha was also there, so were many others. It was a great evening and this was only the first one, there are still 5 more to come: let's see what else we might experience in this upcoming days.
